Me and the kids going for a nature walk. It was a beautiful day and there was alot of creepy crawly and sometimes slithering things to see.

Pretty Lipstick

Alee got a princess locket from Paige's birthday party.
Aparantly the locket was a gift that kept on giving. Avlee discovered the purlple lip gloss that was inside the locket and had fun turning herself into a purple person. Fun times!! We know what Paige will be getting for her next birthday...paint and play dough and lipstick and nailpolish. Yeah!!

Fourth of July

Avlee, Austin, Drew and Sydney sitting on their towels getting ready for the fireworks. We all swam all day at the Raegal's pool. The kids had a blast and we were happy to be able to cool off.

Peztivity Scene

Every year Menifee has a Community Christmas Festival. They display Nativity scenes of all kinds. Some scenes are over $6,000 in value, others have been in the family for 100s of years. Because of this, during the four days of the festival in the cultural hall, they have 24 hour security guards (Elders and High Priest) who stand at the doors. The cultural hall is decorated beautifully with a walkway throughout to view hundreds of Nativity scenes. I entered mine this year. Everyone in charge there and the entire Committee says that mine was the best one there. They wrote up something and put it in the program. I guess they only feature in the program a few scene. So anyway, when I brought it there, after they were done calling over everyone there to see it, she told me to follow her and she will show me where it will go. She takes me to the center front of the hall, to the highest level, removes a very nice scene, and sets mine there. Mine is now in the center, front and the highest point there. It was awesome. I will now enter it each year. Maybe introduce a new character each year I submit it.
